Fonz Leather Styles Ltd is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with respect for internationally recognised human and labour rights. We do not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, exploitation, harassment or abusive working practices within our own operations or supply chain.
Our business and supply chain
Fonz Leather Styles Ltd is a UK supplier of leather goods, handbags and accessories. We work with established manufacturing partners, material suppliers, tanneries, component suppliers, packaging suppliers and logistics providers in the UK and overseas. Our manufacturing supply chain operates through Sedex, supporting transparency and responsible sourcing across labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance and business ethics. Leather is sourced through approved supply chains incorporating Leather Working Group (LWG) certified tanneries, supporting responsible environmental management and improved standards within leather production.
Ethical trade principles
We expect our suppliers and manufacturing partners to comply with applicable local laws and to uphold responsible employment practices. Our expectations include:
Employment is freely chosen and no forced, bonded, trafficked or involuntary labour is used.
Child labour is prohibited and legal minimum-age requirements are observed.
Workers are treated fairly, with dignity and without unlawful discrimination, harassment or abuse.
Safe and hygienic working conditions are provided.
Wages, benefits and working hours comply with applicable legal requirements.
Workers' lawful rights to freedom of association and collective representation are respected.
Identity documents are not unlawfully retained and recruitment practices must not create debt bondage.
Business is conducted lawfully, honestly and without bribery, corruption or fraudulent practices.
Responsible leather sourcing
We recognise the environmental and social responsibilities associated with leather production. The use of LWG-certified tanneries within our approved supply chain supports improved performance in areas including chemical management, water and energy use, waste management, environmental compliance and traceability.
Due diligence and supplier expectations
We seek to work with established and responsible suppliers and use recognised frameworks, including Sedex and LWG certification, as part of our approach to ethical and responsible sourcing. Where appropriate, we may request supporting information, audit evidence, certifications or corrective-action information from suppliers. Any credible concern relating to modern slavery, unethical labour practices, health and safety, human rights or serious environmental non-compliance will be reviewed. Where a significant breach is identified, we expect appropriate corrective action. If a serious issue cannot be satisfactorily remedied, Fonz Leather Styles Ltd reserves the right to review or terminate the relevant business relationship.

We recognise that responsible sourcing and ethical trade require ongoing review and improvement. We will continue to work with our manufacturing and supply partners to promote transparency, responsible employment practices, environmental standards and ethical business conduct throughout our supply chain.
